Guide 02

Share the procedure. Keep the reason private.

The shared agreement should tell the table what to do, without naming the person who raised a boundary or saving why it matters to them.

What belongs in the shared copy

  • Table-facing boundaries and content limits.
  • A plain pause procedure anyone can use.
  • The condition for resuming or changing direction.
  • A neutral path for revisiting shared wording.

What stays outside the shared copy

Do not ask for a person’s name, diagnosis, history, or explanation. Do not promise anonymity that the agreement cannot guarantee. A private disclosure can happen through a separate path chosen by the group; the shared agreement only needs the resulting procedure or boundary.

Unknown is not “no boundaries.” An empty safety field means “Not discussed yet,” not permission and not a completed answer.

Read the wording aloud before saving

Ask whether everyone can follow the sentence without needing the missing private context. If the sentence points to an unnamed person or hidden reason, rewrite it as an observable table procedure.

Try this wording pattern in the one-topic preview or compare the four topic boundaries.
